A RARE ICON SHOWING THE COMMUNION OF THE APOSTLES FROM A CHURCH ICONOSTASIS Russian, 17th century Tempera on wood panel with kovcheg. The panels showing Christ behind the Eucharistic table giving communion to His followers. The background is composed of a series of architectural structures. Horizontale crack minimally restored, the edges minimally chipped. 34.6 x 35.2 cm.
