AN ICON SHOWING THE DEISIS Russian, early 19th century Tempera on wood panel with kovcheg. The haloes made of silver, covered by a golden lacquer. Five selected saints on the borders, Sts. Yulitta and Kirik and the Guardian Angel among them. Losses, the border partially restored. 35.5 x 31 cm.
