AN ICON SHOWING CHRIST PANTOKRATOR WITH SILVER OKLAD Russian, 19th century (icon), Russian, Moscow, Andrey Postnikov, 1870 (oklad) Tempera on wood panel. The icon traditionally painted, with repoussé, chased and engraved floral scroll and trellis oklad, pierced halo. Marked on lower rim and halo with city hallmark, 84 standard, assayer's mark and master's mark 'AP' in Cyrillic. Restored. 31 x 26.7 cm.
