A LARGE ICON SHOWING THE EXTENDED DEISIS Russian, circa 1800 Tempera on wood panel with kovcheg. Finely executed in great detail on gold ground. Four selected saints on the borders, the Metropolitans of Moscow among them. Vertical cracks partially restored. 36.7 x 31 cm.
