A LARGE ICON SHOWING THE MANDYLION Russian, Vetka, 1st half 19th century Tempera on wood panel. Finely executed on a gold ground. Two selected saints on the borders: the Archangel Raphael and St. Irina. Gilding partially worn, minor damages to the edges. 44.2 x 37.4 cm.
