WESTERN GUITAR 'IBANEZ CONCORD' Japan, ca. 1974-1978 High-gloss black lacquered dreadnought body, spruce and mahogany, 12-string, with case. Length 110, scale length approx. 66 cm. Inside label reads: "Ibanez Concord, Mark of Quality, Instrument Produced in Japan under Strict Quality Control, serial number '752 12'." The Ibanez Concord belongs to the coveted Concord series, which was created during the company's heyday in Japan in the 1970s. Due to its high-gloss black finish, this model is often referred to as the "Black Beauty." In good condition with signs of wear from playing; functionality not tested. Provenance: Purchased from Musik Schmidt Frankfurt-private collection in Hesse.
