Two-piece spruce top and maple back, light brown varnish; includes case. 4/4 violin, total length 58.7 cm, body length 35.5 cm. Label reads: 'Stefano Scarampella di Brescia, Fratello ed Allievo del Giuseppe, Fece in Mantova anno 1889'; branded mark on the back. Part. rubbed, bumped and damage; cracks in the top in the lower bout and at the f-hole; fingerboard detached.
