VIOLIN BOW MARKED 'LOEWENDALS*' German, early 20th century. Octagonal shaft, single eye, silver mountings, winding, thumb leather, ivory end plate. Length: 74.6 cm, weight: approx. 60 g. Violin bow marked 'Loewendals' (Louis Löwendahl), presumably from the Knopf school or workshop. Partially bumped and rubbed. Provenance: Private collection, Rhineland. CITES marketing certificate is available. Please note that due to the current CITES regulations for ivory objects, unrestricted trade is only permitted within the European Community.
