VIOLA Probably German, circa 1900 One-piece spruce top and two-piece maple back, dark brown varnish. 4/4 viola, length 63.6 cm, body width 38.2 cm. No label. Partially damaged and dinged, cracks in top and back. Provenance: Private collection, Hesse.
