(now Luby, Czech Republic), c. 1900-1920 Violin-shaped body made of spruce and maple; engraved metal headplate with tuning mechanism; ivory pegs; in original, fitted wooden case. Length approx. 59.5 cm. Marked on the head 'Anton Bräuer Schönbach i. B'; internal label reads: 'Anton Bräuer Musik-Instrumentenmacher Schönbach, Böhmen'. Shows some signs of wear and minor damage. Provenance: Private collection, Hesse. CITES marketing certificate is available.
