Description
COLLECTION OF FIVE 'PFRETZSCHNER' VIOLIN BOWS* German, early 20th century. Round and octagonal stick, Parisian and single eye, winding, thumb leather, ivory head plate. L. 74.1 to 74.5 cm, weight approx. 54 to 58. Violin bow marked 'H.R. Pfretzschner' and partly stamped in the frog. Part rubbed and min. dam. CITES marketing certificate is available. Please note that due to the current CITES regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell objects, unrestricted trade is only permitted within the European Community. An export license is required for shipment to third countries. Please inform yourself about the current import regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell in your country. It is currently not possible to export ivory to the USA, Canada or England. This item is not legal to sell in the UK.
