BAROQUE ETAGERE DISPLAY CABINET Dresden, 18th century Walnut, burl wood, veneered, inlaid, fire-gilded fittings and surrounding ornamentation. H. 208, W. 84, D. 49 cm. Two-piece cabinet on four curved legs, two-door base cabinet with passively curved front. Above the profiled top panel rises the characteristic étagère top, a two-door glass display cabinet with three shelves. Upper section with curved gable and central flower cartouche. Bumped and veneer damage.
