TEA BOX IN THE STYLE OF ABRAHAM ROENTGEN * German, circa 1800 Mahogany on oak, dark patina and lacquer, brass. 23.5 x 15 x 16 cm. Feet cut from the base. Rectangular shape. Profiled hinged lid and top-mounted handle. Ornamental keyhole escutcheon. Damaged; key missing. Due to current CITES regulations, unrestricted trade in mahogany objects is permitted only within the European Union. Export to third countries is not possible.
