FRENCH PRISONER OF WAR BONE SHIP DIORAMA circa 1800 Bones, wood, partially painted, thread, wire, glass. Glass case 32.5 x 51.5 x 27 cm, bone ship approx. 25 x 37 x 8 cm. A diorama in the tradition of bone ships made from animal bone scraps by French prisoners of war in British POW camps during the Napoleonic Wars. Partially damaged.
