FERDINANDO DE LUCA Active 20th century, Italy 'THE CHAMPAGNE GIRL' Bronze with brown patina, metal, glass sphere. H. 74, W. 30, D. 35 cm. Unsigned. Full-figure sculpture of a young, scantily clad woman in the style of the 1920s, sitting casually on a high bar stool. She wears a characteristic cloche hat and a garment draped loosely around her body, holding a champagne glass in one hand. Minor nicks and loss of patina; glass sphere chipped. Provenance: Private collection, North Rhine-Westphalia.
