DOROTHEA CHAROL 1895 Odessa - 1963 London DANCING CHINESE WOMAN* German, probably Rosenthal & Maeder, around 1925-30 Bronze, patinated gold, face, hands, and legs carved from sperm whale tooth. Total height 25.7 cm, height 22 cm, weight 1.6 kg. Inscription 'D. Charol' on the side of the second base. Partial loss of patina and wear, minimal loss at the foot.
