Description
OTTO SCHEER Active in the early 20th century. STANDING KNIGHT WITH SWORD AND HELMET* circa 1925 Chryselephantine, bronze, silver-plated, light patina, polychrome finish, face carved from ivory, on round plinth and base (H. 5 cm). Total height 16 cm, width 4 cm, depth 8.5 cm, weight approx. 380 g. Signed 'O. Scheer fec.' on the plinth. Minor rubbed. CITES marketing certificate is available. Please note that due to the current CITES regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell objects, unrestricted trade is only permitted within the European Community. An export license is required for shipment to third countries. Please inform yourself about the current import regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell in your country. It is currently not possible to export ivory to the USA, Canada or England. This item is not legal to sell in the UK.
