UNKNOWN SCULPTOR Active in the 19th/20th century EQUESTRIAN STATUETTE 'CHARLEMAGNE' Bronze, dark patina, on rectangular stone base (H. 3.5 cm). Total height 28 cm, width 17.5 cm, depth 9.5 cm, weight approx. 6.1 kg. After the original in the Louvre. Above a rectangular base, a fully sculpted representation of King Charlemagne on horseback, holding a raised sword and the imperial orb in his hands. Partial loss of patina.
