ALBERT HINRICH HUSSMANN 1874 Lüdingworth - 1946 Fürstenberg RIDER ON HORSE Bronze, brown patina, on a naturalistic plinth (H. 5 cm). Total H. 48, W. 52, D. 15 cm, weight approx. 17.31 kg. Signed 'A.H. Hussmann' on the plinth, foundry mark 'Düsseldf Broncegiesserei G.M.B.H.' on the side. Powerful depiction of a naked young rider on a striding horse. The rider leans backwards and reaches into the animal's mane with one hand. Partial loss of patina, bumped and rubbed.
