WERKSTÄTTEN HAGENAUER (VIENNA) PAIR OF KANGAROO BOOKENDS Brass, with a polished, golden patina. H. approx. 13 cm, W. 10 cm, D. 10 cm; weight approx. 0.5 kg. Each marked on the underside with 'SK' inside a triangle-likely *Salzburger Kunstwerkstätte*. A pair of mirror-image bookends, each featuring a fully modeled, highly stylized kangaroo-like figure set against a geometrically jagged backplate that tapers to a point at the top. Base and backplates feature a characteristic star motif. Part. bumped and rubbed, loss of paint.
