ALFRED BARYE 1839 - 1882 (follower) MONUMENTAL ORIENTAL RIDER 19th/20th c. Bronze, dark patinated, on plinth. Height 110 cm, width 82 cm, depth 42 cm. Marked on the plinth 'Barye fils'. Oriental or Arab hunter on naturalistic base, sitting on a horse, carrying the hunted prey. Part. rubbed and bumped, partial loss of patina.
