OSWALD HERZOG 1881 Haynau - 1941? LYING FEMALE NUDITY Bronze, brown patina, on rectangular plinth (H. 3.5 cm). H. 20, W. 38, D. 20.5 cm. Posthumous casting, inscribed on the back 'O. Herzog', numbered '3/3'. Highly abstract, cubist-influenced representation of a reclining female nude, reduced to a few basic geometric forms. Partial loss of patina.
