COLLECTION OF FOUR BRONZE FIGURES (HOULET, REUSCH, MÈNE, AND HEGE) Bronze, dark patina, partially on marble base. H. 12, 23, 37, 41 cm. Houlet (French sculptor), active in the early 20th century, lion and snake in combat, H. 12, W. 20, D. 10 cm, weight approx. 2.64 kg. Inscribed 'Houlet' on the plinth. Johann Friedrich Reusch (1843 Siegen - 1906 Agrigento), metalworker, total height 41, width 14, depth 14 cm, weight approx. 10.55 kg. Signed 'F. Reusch' on the plinth, dedication on the front 'Das Deutsche Nietengewerbe 1 September 1931' (The German Riveting Trade, 1 September 1931), pliers missing. Pierre-Jules Mène 1810 Paris - 1879 Ibid. (After) The Hare Hunt, total height 23, width 30.5, T. 15 cm, weight approx. 6.37 kg Willy Hege (1907 Basel - 1976 ibid.) Saint Nepomuk, total height 37, W. 13, D. 12.5 cm, weight approx. 4 kg. Signed 'Willy Hege' and inscribed 'Basel' on the reverse, dated '1958', numbered '4/23'. Partial loss of patina and some damage.
