VIENNA SCULPTOR Active in the 20th century COLLECTION OF NINE FROG FIGURES 'LEISURE' Viennese bronze, polychrome painted. Heights ranging from 3.5 to 6 cm. Partially marked "FBW" (Fritz Bermann Wien). Nine humorously designed frogs depicted in various everyday scenes and leisure activities. The figures include two ball players, a scooter rider, a motorcyclist, a kissing frog couple on a bench, two soccer players, a frog with a crutch and a wooden leg, a blacksmith with a hammer, and two frogs reading newspapers. Partially bumped and rubbed, loss of patina, rest. Provenance: Private collection, Rhineland.
