FRENCH SCULPTOR Active 18th/19th century IMPERIAL EAGLE Fire-gilt bronze, finely chased. H. 22, W. 43.5, D. 9 cm, weight approx. 2 kg. Finely modeled eagle with wings widely spread and head turned to the side, standing with its talons on a curved, ornamentally designed arched base. Minor nicks in places; gilding rubbed in places.
