FRENCH SCULPTOR Active 18th/19th century EAGLE Fire-gilt bronze, finely chased. H. 14, W. 33, D. 10 cm; weight approx. 1.15 kg. Fully modeled eagle with wings widely spread and head turned to the side, standing with its talons on a curved, ornamentally designed base. Part. bumped; gilding rubbed in areas.
