ANTON GRATH 1881 Vienna - 1956 Vienna FEMALE NUDE AS A BOWL BEARER Bronze, brown patina, on an oval plinth. H. 25, W. 28, D. 25 cm; weight approx. 6.94 kg. Signed 'A. Grath' on the plinth. Decorative Art Deco vessel featuring a fully modeled, kneeling, semi-nude female figure in a caryatid-like pose. With both arms raised, she supports a large, round bowl above her head. Her lower body is draped in a cloth that falls softly and plays around her legs. Part. bumped and rubbed, loss of paint.
