OSCAR BODIN 1868 Bliesransbach/Saar - 1940 (active in Berlin) 'DIANA WITH BOW' Bronze, dark patina, on a round plinth and square marble base (H. 5.5 cm). Total height 40 cm, width 18.5 cm, depth 13 cm; weight approx. 2.48 kg. Inscribed 'O. Bodin' on the back of the plinth. Fully modeled figure of Diana, Roman goddess of the hunt, depicted as a standing female nude in a dynamic pose, drawing a bow. Part. damage/bumped, loss of patina, bow missing.
