Inscribed on the back of the plinth 'P. Dubois 1865', with foundry mark 'F. Barbedienne Fondeur' and 'Reduction Mecanique A. Collas'. Full-round depiction of a young Florentine singer in the idealized costume of the early Italian Renaissance, simultaneously singing and playing the mandolin. Areas of rubbing; loss of patina and traces of oxidation; rest. Provenance: Private collection, Hesse.
