TWO IRON TSUBA (SWORD GUARDS) Japan, 18th/19th century Iron. H. 7.4-7.5 cm. Including a tsuba decorated with flowers and signed "Kogetsu Sai/Saku, Sadatsune", and a tsuba decorated with bamboo on one side and flowers on the other, signed "Nara Saku". signed. With traces of age, partially abraded. Both are of marugata shape. Provenance: From an old private collection in North Rhine-Westphalia.
