Description
TWO IVORY CARVED NETSUKE AND OKIMONO Japan, 19th century Ivory. H. 2.1-6 cm. Including a ryusa manju netsuke depicting five Noh and Kyogen masks, and an okimono depicting a huge elephant with many people climbing on it. Both are signed 'Gyokuzan' on the bottom. With traces of age and use. CITES marketing certificate is available. Please note that due to the current CITES regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell objects, unrestricted trade is only permitted within the European Community. An export license is required for shipment to third countries. Please inform yourself about the current import regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell in your country. It is currently not possible to export ivory to the USA, Canada or England. This item is not legal to sell in the UK.
