Description
TWO PALE CELADON JADE PLAQUES China, 20th century Jade. L. 5.9-7 cm. Including a plaque decorated with a floral form, featuring a movable circular element with the character 'Ji' (auspicious) at the center, and another jade plaque carved in the shape of double gourds, inscribed with 'Da Ji' (great fortune) on one side and 'Ji Xiang' (auspiciousness) on the other. With traces of age and use, partially damaged and cracked. Provenance: From an old private collection in the southern part of North Rhine-Westphalia.
