A CELADON JADE CARVED CRANES GROUP ON WOODEN BASE China, probably early 20th century Jade. H. 18.8 cm (21.5 cm with base). The carving depicts two cranes soaring among flowers and rocks, with a small bird resting at the bottom. With traces of age and use, partially damaged. Provenance: From an old private collection in the southern part of North Rhine-Westphalia.
