A PAIR OF CABINETS WITH GOLD LACQUERED WOOD RELIEF PANELS China, 19/20th century Wood. Ca. 37.4x71.1cmx37.9 cm. Both cabinets are inlaid with gold lacquer wood carvings depicting the Eight Immortals, chess-playing figures, and other scenes. One cabinet is carved with landscape scenes on the sides and upper portion, while the other is carved with the Hundred Antiques decorative on the sides and upper portion. With traces of use and cracks, partially damaged and abraded.
