Description
KANO TAN'YU (WITH SIGNATURE OF), TWO KAKEMONO (HANGING SCROLL) Japan, probably Edo Period Ink and color on paper and silk, mounted as hanging scroll. Ca. 42x155-61x197 cm. One scroll shows a landscape scene on silk, the other a figure on paper. Both are signed at the lower right and have a seal. With traces of age, slightly stained and damaged. Provenance: From an old private collection in North Rhine-Westphalia.
