KANO CHIKANOBU (WITH SIGNATURE OF), TWO FIGURATIVE PAINTINGS Japan Ink and color on paper, mounted as hanging scroll. Ca. 40x168-51x107 cm. Both paintings are signed and bear a seal at the lower left. One depicts Shoki and is housed in an inscribed tomobako (storage box), while the other features Daikokuten. With traces of age and creasing, partially stained and damaged. Provenance: From an old private collection in North Rhine-Westphalia.
