A GILT WOOD STANDING FIGURE OF AMIDA BUDDHA Japan, late Edo period Wood. H. 69 cm. The buddha is standing in monastic robe on a stepped hexagonal plinth, backed by an oval mandorla carved with cloud scrolls. With traces of age, damaged and restored in places, partially glued. Provenance: From an old private collection in North Rhine-Westphalia.
