A GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF AMITAYUS China, Qianlong-Period Bronze. H. 17.8 cm. Amitayus is seated in dhyanasana on a square throne, with hands in dhyanamudra originally holding a kalasa. The Buddha is adorned. With traces of age, partially abraded, damaged and probably restored. Provenance: From a private collection in North Rhine-Westphalia.
