Description
A GILT-BRONZE SEATED FIGURE OF AMITAYUS Inner Mongolia, probably 19th century Bronze. H. 17.8 cm. Amitayus is seated in vajraparyankasana on a double-lotus base, depicted with hands held in dhyana mudra originally supporting a bumpa. With traces of age, partially abraded and damaged, bumpa missing.
