Description
A GILT-DECORATED POWDER-BLUE-GROUND STEM BOWL AND COVER China, 19th/20th century Porcelain. H. 15.3 cm. The stem bowl and cover are decorated on the exterior with a dragon and a phoenix amidst clouds above crashing waves on the splayed foot, the shoulder of the bowl flanked by a pair of double loop handles. The base bears a six-character Guangxu mark, now partially abraded and indistinct due to wear. With traces of age and use, partially abraded.
