Description
A MINIATURE PAINTING DEPICTING RAZIAH SULTAN IN ARMOR ON HORSEBACK Mughal-India, probably 18th century Pigments and gold leaf on paper. Ca. 31.5x19.7 cm. On a galloping horse, Raziah Sultan turns back, while on the ground lies her murdered husband, Malik Altunia. The reverse with inscription and a date of 1706/07. With traces of age, partially creased and damaged.
