A MINIATURE PAINTING Indo-Persisch, probably 1580 Gouache and gold on paper, framed and under glass. Ca. 19.5x12 cm (31.4x25.5 cm with frame). This scene is from the 'Divan of Hafez', a celebrated collection of poems by the Persian poet Hafez. The reverse bears a label from the "20th West German Art Fair, Cologne, 25 February - 5 March 1989, Art and Antiques". With traces of age, partially creased and stained.
