A LARGE FAMILLE ROSE 'NINE PEACHES' VASE China, late Qing Dynasty/Republic Period Porcelain. H. 55 cm. The ovoid body rising to a tall cylindrical neck with a slightly everted rim, decorated around the exterior with large ripe peaches and leaves issuing from gnarled branches, interspersed with flying bats and white and pink blossoms. With traces of age and use; partially abraded, especially on the rim. Minor chips and traces of gilding to the rim, and minor hairline cracks to the base. Provenance: From a private collection in North Rhine-Westphalia.
