A PAINTED GREY POTTERY FIGURE OF A TRICORN BEAST China, Western Jin Dynasty, 3rd Century Pottery. H. 31 cm, W. ca. 37 cm. The beast is shown standing with the head lowered and tail raised, with remnants of white slip and orange-red pigment. With traces of age, partially abraded. Literature: This figure can be compared to Lot 172, which was sold at Christie's in the online auction 14966 held in July 2017.
