A PAIR OF CARVED SOAPSTONE 'CATS' SEALS China, Qing dynasty Soapstone. H. 6-6.3 cm. Each seal from the pair is finely carved with two cats in a playful pose. With traces of age and use, partially abraded. Provenance: From an old private collection in the southern part of North Rhine-Westphalia.
