A THANGKA DEPICTING MARPA CHOKYI LODRO China (Tibet), probably 19th century Distemper on cloth, framed under glass. 80x42.5 cm. Marpa is seated on a red and blue cushion atop a red throne, surrounded by buddhas and gurus, in a water landscape. With traces of age, partially damaged and stained. Provenance: From a private collection in North Rhine-Westphalia.
