A RARE WOOD NETSUKE OF A SENNIN Japan, 18th century Wood. L. 4.9 cm. The netsuke is carved as a sennin sitting on a tree stump, holding a hat and a cane while resting. Signed 'Hachigyoku' on the back of the stump. With traces of age and use, partially abraded.
