A WALRUS TUSK NETSUKE OF A TENAGA Japan, 19th century Walrus tusk. H. 8.6 cm. The netsuke is carved as a seated Tenaga raising a mask high with both hands. With traces of use and age, partially abraded. Provenance: From an old private collection in North Rhine-Westphalia.
