Description
A GROUP OF CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL AND CARVED LACQUER SNUFF BOTTLES China, late Qing Dynasty and later Cloisonné/lacquerware. H. 5.5-7.3 cm. Including a cloisonné enamel bottle decorated on both sides with Heavenly Horse and flanked with repoussé animal mast handles and loose ring, a cloisonné enamel 'floral' bottle, and two carved red lacquer snuff bottles decorated with landscape scene and erotic scene. With traces of use, partially damaged. Provenance: From a private collection in the Ruhr area, acquired 1979 in Hongkong and 1998 on the European art market.
