A GROUP OF SILVER AND AMBER SNUFF BOTTLES China, 19th century and later Silver/amber. H. 6.6-8.2 cm. Including a silver snuff bottle carved with lotus and flanked with animal mask handles, a silver bottle inlaid on sides with jade, as well as two carved amber snuff bottles. With traces of use, partially damaged, one stopper broken. Provenance: From a private collection in the Ruhr area, acquired between 1979 and 1988 on the Asian and European art market.
